I have loved following your excellent and balanced coverage of the complicated Israeli-Arab conflict. I'm very worried I think the Netanyahu strategy can only backfire on Israel. The constant beating of the war drums on the part of the Netanyahu government can only end in a self-fulfilling prophecy: a devastating war. And since 2006, I do not have much confidence that the Israelis would be at all prepared for a much more serious war with Hezbollah should Israel and/or the US bomb Iran. I wish Israel would get a more sophisticated foreign policy---the region is changing very quickly and I don't think Israeli strategists are adjusting adroitly and successfully to the shifting sands.
