Notes From a Conflicted Land is a website presenting critical views, opinion and analysis of news, events and ideas emanating from the “conflicted land,” Israel. The site is run by Michael Omer-Man, an American writer living in Israel.

The goals of Notes From a Conflicted Land are:

• To provide an ideology-free (as much as possible) view of Israel, the conflict, the Middle East and the politics that plague it.
• To provide an outsider’s perspective, with the knowledge, insight and experience of an insider.
• To provide intellectually stimulating and thought-provoking material that both satisfies and sparks curiosity about the region.
